 Ingredients for 3-4 people

  • 180g all-purpose flour

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon of baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon ginger powder

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder

  • 57g unsalted butter, soften at room temperature

  • 50g sugar

  • 25g beaten egg

  • 60ml honey

Knead the dough

  • Sift and mix together 180g flour, ¼ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon ginger powder and ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder.
  • Put sugar and butter in a bowl, beat with a mixer on medium speed until soft, add 60ml honey and 25g egg and mix well.
  • Slowly add the dry powder to the mixture and mix well.

Shape the cake

  • Place the dough on parchment paper and place in the fridge to firm up.

  • Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1-2mm. Use a cookie cutter to cut into your favorite shape.

Bake the cake

  • Preheat the oven to 165 degrees Celsius before baking for 10-15 minutes.

  • Bake the cake at 165 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Then, lower to 110 degrees for 10-15 minutes to dry the cake and not be spongy.
