Ingredients For 4 - 5 people

- 1 can of canned chickpeas 400g

- ½ teaspoon of cumin seed powder

- ½ teaspoon Paprika Smoke chili powder (if you don't have it, you can replace it with regular ground chilli)

- teaspoon garlic powder

- teaspoon onion powder

- teaspoon coriander seed powder

- teaspoon of salt

- teaspoon of black pepper powder

- 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions:

1 Preheat the oven to 205 degrees Celsius. Place parchment paper or grease a baking tray with oil or butter.

  • Wash chickpeas and drain.
  • Prepare a small bowl, with ingredients including ½ teaspoon of cumin seed powder, ½ teaspoon of Paprika Smoke, ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, ½ teaspoon of onion powder, ½ teaspoon of coriander seed powder, ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder.
  • Mix all the spices.

  • Pour the chickpeas over and spread them evenly on the baking sheet.
  • Place the chickpeas in the preheated oven. Bake for 15 minutes.

  • Take the chickpeas out of the oven. Coat 1 tablespoon olive oil evenly over the chickpeas. Make sure all the chickpeas are lightly coated with olive oil. This keeps the crunchy roasted chickpeas shiny and doesn't dry out.
  • Pour the previously mixed seasoning mixture over the chickpeas. Stir well so that all the seeds are coated with the seasoning.

  • Continue to put the chickpeas in the oven for another 10 minutes at 205 degrees Celsius.
  • Remove the baking tray from the oven and stir well.
  • Add the chickpeas to the oven for the last time, about 5-10 minutes more, depending on how crispy the snack is.
  • Turn off the heat and let the crunchy roasted chickpeas continue in the oven for maximum crispiness.
