This was great Tacco Primitivo 2015 13,5% red wine! Jammy sweet, raspberry, and plum. Then onto coffee, licorice, and earthy flavors. All are rounded up with discreet vanilla, oak (the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels), and pepper.
A bottle of this interesting Primitivo with medium acid level, and medium alcoholic level, it is easy to drink, smooth wine, well balance. All are harmoniously working together. The finish is long, complex, and pleasant. This red wine shows the temperament of a true Southern Italian and is flattering.
