This inky purple/black wine is a 'no added sulfur' organic wine, with sulfur not used during the winemaking process, with overpowering black ripe fruit flavor, locked in with subtle red fruit and a spicy herbal hint on the nose. Harmony on the palate, where a black fruit drives the wine, the brisk edge of tannin, and the juicy acid character of cherry and plum skins add an edge to the fruit taste, with slight chocolate fleshing out the finish.
