Chateau Villegy Minervois is a harmonious combination of 3 famous grapes: 45% Syrah, 30% Grenache, 15% Cinsault & 10% Carignan. Using the traditional method of periodic harvesting and fermentation from Syrah and Grenache, the wine needs to undergo 20 days of thorough examination. Next is the carbonic soak for Carignan. After that, the wine is aged for ten months in American oak barrels until perfect, then bottled and delivered to the consumer. Jean Claude Mas Chateau Villegly Minervois 14% has a beautiful deep ruby red color. Some aromas of blackcurrant, violet, and blackberries evolve towards notes of cocoa and sweet spices. On the palate, it is well-balanced and fruity, a silky, dry, and fleshy wine offering well-marked fruit aromas and tangy notes of fruit pies, apples, and cedar, with a mineral.
