Founded by George Smith, the Glenlivet Distillery has been crafted in the remote Livet Valley in the heart of Scotland's Speyside region since 1824. Glenlivet 12 YO Excellence 75CL 40% has the aroma of honey & fruit, peaches, apricot, floral, cereal barley grist, orange, barley sugar sweeties, orange blossom, honeysuckle, and summer flower meadows. On the palate, quite light, with honey & golden syrup, vanilla & Madeira cake, sweet not sharp & citrus, barley sugar sweeties, floral; rose, apple, rosemary, and a little herbal. Medium-short, light, sweet and floral finish.
