Chimay Red 7% 330ml
This Chimay Red, 7% ABV is known as an authentic Trappist beer, brewed for the very first time back in 1862, although it was a somewhat different taste back then. Compared with its ‘blue’ beer brother, the ‘red’ beer does have a surprising fruitiness, along with touches of curaçao and coriander.

Product desscription
The Chimay Red beer has a beautiful brown color and is awash with hues ranging from smoldering copper to deep ruby. This beer has a balanced blend of generous fruity flavors with a toffee that pleases every palate. Besides, Chimay Red beer has a succession of ripe fruits such as orange, peach, and apricot and is paired exquisitely with sweet malty flavors such as nougat and biscuit. All of these flavors create a refreshing minerality, and smooth bitterness completes the palette of flavors. The delightful pairing of aromas and flavors lingers well into the aftertaste and leaves the mouth eagerly anticipating the next sip. Chimay Red is served in the traditional Chimay glass, the typical shape for Trappist beers. Tilt the glass slightly, pour the beer slowly but without interruption, and pour carefully so the bottle does not touch the glass or foam. Finally, stop before emptying – should leave a 1cm thick layer in a beer bottle.
