2013 Poggi Amarone Corte Cast 16% is an exceptional wine, a unique wine. A wine of extraordinary finesse. Very ripe fruits, prunes, raisins, burned caramel, and dark chocolate. Very full-bodied, ample, chewy tannins, medium astringency. On the palate, there is a confiture of dried fruits, raisins, and spicy, with a mineral aftertaste.
